The Lotus

This 1988 Lotus Esprit will be our first full EV conversion. The early adopter side of what GKR will be. You can see that we have done the mythical V10 Viper GTS and the historic 60s Shelby Cobra but this Lotus marks the beginning of GKR as we will know it. The current plan is to fit this car with a similarly powered electric motor setup. Roughly 200hp. It is not intended to fire down a drag strip or slice up corners on a road course. This will be GKRs showcase car once finished. Reliability as its best which is not what a Lotus is generally known for. EV changes that. I fully believe an EV conversion will fit this car far better than what it came from the factory with.
